The title says it all, really. I had tried many different ad-blockers on iOS, but always returned to Wipr. Works great even with international ad-blocking (Norway). I even pay monthly tips to the developer - not because it is required, but because he deserves it. Very much recommended!
I try to live ad free as much as possible, I have configured raspberry pi with pihole to block ads but there were always some that slipped through. Mostly the annoying ones the pop up in a new tab and that bugged me for years… this extension works great and I recommend it. The only thing that it may be missing and i hope it gets implemented is the ability to block google cookies 🍪 popup on incognito mode and maybe other sites that request confirmation to allow cookies. Enabla som content blokker men den blokker hverken Facebook eller YouTube (i Safari)
Jeg har prøvd de fleste. Ikke hundrevis av forskjellige tilpassede blockers å velge, som i hvert fall jeg syns blir litt for komplisert. Wiper har 1, 2 og 3, enkelt og greit. App og lister oppdateres jevnlig. Rask feedback om det skulle være noe.
Den beste Ad Blockeren jeg har brukt på iOS. Eneste kritikk jeg har er at det burde være et enkelt skjema i appen for å rapportere feil i filteret.
Blokkerer all reklame og kollapser de tomme hvite rammene som blir igjen. Kun Purify og Wipr som får til dette. Set-it-and-forget-it.
Does everything it says it does, seamlessly. It’s initial activation is about the easiest thing I’ve ever had to do to get an app up and running. And, since activating it, I’ve quite literally had to do nothing to keep my webpages neat and clean - since Wipr does all that for me in the background - out of sight and out of mind.
Paid for this one a few months back, I now see the developer released a new app instead of updating this one. No upgradeable path from this one to the new one. Do not support them!!
Pay for an app, doesn’t even ad block, find out there is a new version that has no free/discounted upgrade available. What a joke, just use Adguard free and be done with it.
