## WordWeb Audio DIctionary Description
A quick, easy to use, and comprehensive international English dictionary and thesaurus with 70 000 professionally recorded British and international audio pronunciations. Fast searching, detailed definitions, synonyms, derived words, examples, and a great user interface let you easily navigate between words as you discover and explore their meanings. 

The WordWeb dictionary database includes: 

- 285,000 distinct words, phrases and derived forms 
- 225,000 word sense definitions 
- 70,000 usage examples 
- 70,000 audio pronunciations 
- 85,000 text pronunciations 
- Synonyms and similar words 

The intelligent word entry suggests possible correct spellings as you type, as well as listing words that sound the same or are often confused. In addition there's a fast pattern-matching word search feature, great for crosswords and other puzzles, or finding that word or phrase you've forgotten.

I don’t understand why is not working, but I bought the app in order to add the audio version and hear the words how they spell it right. Is not functioning and is very disappointing. When first try to use it I thought maybe you are working on it. Is been now 3 weeks and nothing has changed.

I bought this app so I could hear the pronunciation of words but there is no sound. It tells me to turn off silent mode but this is already done and the volume is turned up! What is going on? If this cannot be fixed I would like my money back!

Used it originally on my PC, then bought the iPhone version. The dictionary with audio is very useful and searching is straight forward. I like the feature that any word in an entry can be searched too, which is very convenient. All in all, this is the best English dictionary I've ever found from Apple App Store. Highly recommended!

I thought that the basic function of this app worked very well. In short to find words, display synonyms and also to read those words out. Less than impressive was the ill thought out interface. There are many "what does that plus do?" moments. I can't help thinking that this would be THE go to dictionary app if it was designed to some of the usability standards of say the native Apple apps or ones like 2Do or Day One.
 
It does what it says on the tin... Just. 3 Stars.
