WordWeb Dictionary

I’ve tried every dictionary there is. I’ve always had WordWeb dictionary on my PC and it’s been a wonderful resource. Now on my Apple devices it’s my ultimate and final go to product. Always comes up with a definition of the most obscure words. Thank you, WordWeb for stepping up to the mark!

Interaction with this thing is a trial no dictionary should be. Simply asking for a new word search becomes a major challenge. Going back to a start page if one exists is not possible. My experience was awful. I tried downloading this app on two different occasions thinking I had done something wrong with my initial attempt. But NO it is just an unfriendly and sad excuse for an App.

I usually read books when I’m nearing bedtime or myself commuting from/to work. Having an offline dictionary to quickly look up unhelpful English words can speed things up. But all other dictionary were connected to online services, so I always wanted something offline. This dictionary was the answer. It has got bookmarking, relevance matching etc. I just don’t know why this is not rated and ranked higher in App Store.

I have been using this app for 15 years

This would be vastly improved if there was a settings option that is easily accessible to alter the size of the text. This is developer 101 at uni and I’m surprised that it’s not breaking disability laws in some countries. Must do better

I’ve used WordWeb for years on my desktop and now on iPad. I wouldn’t be without it. It came in handy especially while doing BA and MA degrees.

This app is amazing for word definitions, the definitions are easy to understand and remember. It comes with synonyms for each word, and even vague synonyms if you want a rough definition. This app is great but I think it should also have antonyms for the words too. Thanks for this app

I love this app because it helps you and tells you how to pronounce stuff.

Good app easy to use

This is the best free dictionary out there I’ve used it for years. All you have to do is try it and if you don’t like it you can always remove it but I don’t think you will be disappointed.
