As part of downsizing, my family and I have now completed several trades with WoB. Large number of items tend to be marked as “item not received” despite delivery company tracking showing that they have been received. The issues do always get rectified, but it is disappointing that the service so unreliable. An occasional mistake yes, sure… but this happens so often one can’t buy wonder if they are incompetent or are deliberately trying to scam. HOLD ON TO YOUR TRACKING NUMBERS!!

I have the plus membership and it never applies the discount when logged in properly.   I didn’t notice once and I never got the money back.  I emailed customer service about this and they told me I needed to use the website.  So I am uninstalling this app — what’s the point?  As previous reviewers said it won’t maintain shopping carts across platforms.

I love this shop. More accessible second hand books. No complaints about that. I want to support it.

However, both the app and the website are riddled with bugs. They actively discourage me from browsing often. For example, the wishlist is so unreliable - it reorganises itself while you are browsing! Prices displayed change when you tap on a book ...

Search is also a mess - you are better off googling "book title + worldofbooks" sometimes. 

The website is even worse.

How many time do we need to login to see our account, this is not a good app in any way. Also the images take for ever to load in the app. Works fine from the web site thou.

The app (as well as the website) is truly an abomination. You log into the app. Then you click on Account -> Orders. Voila you need to sign in again.

You sign into the website on your laptop, add some books to your basket, then you log into the website on your phone browser, the basket is empty. You log back into your laptop. Thank God the items in the basket are still there. 

Perhaps you have some books on providing a seamless experience to your potential customers by syncing the basket across different devices…
