WorldCard Mobile, die führende iPhone Applikation für das Scannen von Visitenkarten, nutzt OCR (Optical Character Recognition) Technologie zum unverzüglichen Übertragen von Informationen von der Visitenkarte in die Kontakte des Nutzers. Ein simpler Klick mit der Kamera genügt, die Eingabe von auf Visitenkarten oder in E-Mail-Signaturen enthaltenen Kontaktinformationen von Hand ist nicht länger nötig.

Was a good app, now after the last update in 2020 it’s a desaster. Ereased all my scanns and wants now acces to may gmail account. Even one star is too much. Don‘t buy or use this app. 
War eine eine gute (gekaufte) App. Mit der letzen  Aktualisierung wurden alle! Scans gelöscht, alle Informationen gingen verloren, und die App möchte dringend Zugang auf die gmail Kontakte. Lasst die Finger davon. Never buy! Non lo compras nunca.

The recognition works rather good. The Swaziland problem for Swiss addresses can be avoided by selecting English for Swiss cards when the country is noted in English. A function for several cards from the same company would be nice to avoid having to repeat the same correctipn in case of recognition error. The recognition errors are more likely for cards with out-of-standard designs.
