I couldn't even start using the dictionary features, as the app requires local network permissions that seem unnecessary for a dictionary app. Also, the first thing the app did when I opened it was to read my clipboard... All in all, an app that clearly has some shady practices with regards to privacy.

I find this app very useful for checking the articles of the German nouns. I also like the examples that come for each word you search.

This app really has all the answers. It also gives examples in case there are unclarities regarding the use of a word. Definitely recommend!

Keeps me telling I'm not connected to the internet though I am connected to the internet; cannot download dictionaries via mobile data

I really like this application and it helps me a lot in my German learnings. But man, it hangs all the time! I typically switch between Linguee and other apps on my iPad when I translate something: I switch to Linguee, look for a word, switch to another app, then switch back to Linguee in a minute. And here it tends to hang for 10-20 seconds, completely unresponsive. It happens 4 times out of 5 for me. It makes me so angry! Yes, I can just stop using it and look for another dictionary. But if only the app didn't hang it would have been my dictionary of choice.
