I subscribed back when President Trump subscribed because I wanted his tweets and lived for them but after he was banned from Twitter I decided to put Twitter on the back burner until hopefully one day he would return, and when he did-I did!!! I recently joined X because I feel like my First Amendment rights are now protected.
Extreme right wing, porn, bots
Extreme far right propaganda is all you’ll see in your feed and replies, even though you don’t follow them. Full of hateful people, bots, pornography and harassment. Deleted my account after 11 years. Deleted app completely off my phone after I heard X was taking its users posts to train an AI bot.
“An error occurred”, lack of relevance
Either I get “an error occurred” when I try to look at comments and have to refresh again (never happened prior to the takeover) or the “For You” page is full of random videos in other languages, porn videos, random fighting videos or massive number of posts from Musk. Yes, I follow him but ratio of posts from him is insane. As for “X is the truth”, take that with a huge grain of salt. You can watch as someone posts something completely wrong or a statement contradicted by a link they are referring to and watch it spread, unabated and unchecked. “X” the app has lost relevance as an information source and has introduced nothing new in a long time. Want to see porn anime in Japanese? This is your spot. Want verified news stories or information on topics you’re interested in? Try elsewhere.
