I used the camera for years but the app has become unbearable. The ads totally ruin it, the full screen ads that often take ages to click through and then when you change between cameras more ads. When you want to see what’s happening on the camera, more often than not you need to see it straight away. I’ve changed my 2 cameras and Found a much more reliable app.

The cameras are fine for the price but the app i criddled with nag screens for the subscription and now the AI Alert service when you open the app or view a camera, also nag messages from the app clogging up your messages.
On top of that, the preferences seem to get purged frequently so you have to re-confurm those on the regular.

Since the update in June 2023 that added a full screen advertisement to the app at least once a day the app has become an utter nightmare to use and it’s a crapshoot if it will even get past the load screen.
As of Jan 2025 the app now has several full screen adverts every time you open it and you also have to go through the personal information sharing options every time with no option to reject all/essential only. Really annoying and has totally ruined it. I’m looking at moving away from it now.

I have two cameras setup from kami vision on the Yi IOT camera app. But when i signed in here. I could see only one camera coming up. They are asking to pay hefty amount to show more than one camera visuals. Also their cameras only capture the tail of the person on the motion detection.
