They monetize the f out of this budget ideas. The whole app is based on spreadsheet. They just make it intuitive through some coding. Don’t get me wrong, I am a religious YNAB ex-user. I use YNAB for 2 years and decided to stop because I see that they have an old app called YNAB 4. Funny enough that YNAB 4 have every core function of new YNAB but only one time payment(back then). The difference is only on bank linking (a gimmick), user interface and mobile app integration. But those 3 so-called “features” doesn’t justify the 99$/year price tag. Go to the google and search for YNAB 4. You will be suprised how much you can save by using it instead. (little hint: you saved 99$/year isn’t that crazy? LOL)

I personally think 99$/year is madness. To be fair 33$/year is more like it. They drive the price up because of their marketing and online “tutorials” that they make. Shame on you Jesse! Yeah I did some research on how they made YNAB in the first place. Yep it is a spreadsheet :)

### *---- "YNAB Doesnt Support Custom Date for Beginning of The Month"
One of the important feature in budgeting app that I expect is that we can customize the starting date of budgeting month (since I got paid all sum in the middle of the month). This makes allocating the budget really not convenient at all (because I can only know how much budget that I can allocate after I know my remaining balance in middle of the month).
The other budgeting app can simply accomodate this feature. Its waste of money for subscribing to YNAB 😔😔😔

I never bother to leave reviews, but this app is a life changer for me. I use it and love using it despite having to enter transactions manually (because of where I’m based) but I have to say, it’s more suited for serious budgeters because of the cost, IMO. Especially if you need to manually enter transactions, which takes time.

Too expensive for me, i want to save money not spending too much money for a software that designed to save money. If the price is $50 or below per year i may want consider.
