I have subscribed to Viki ,prime, Qiyi ,WeTV & YOUKU but YOUKU is the worst at them!!! The font for subtitles are terrible and faded l don’t know how the developers passed it off. The app freezes regularly and it’s not nothing to do with my internet connection seeing as l only experience this on YOUKU.

On YOUKU, vip doesn’t have full access, I just subscribed and this is my only month. Other Asian app isn’t like this, and their app isn’t on my tv. It’s just a waste of money and scam that you have to pay to express as a vip to watch the last episodes.

I have VIP membership of 2 other mainstream Asian drama platforms. Youku is the third streaming platform I have taken membership of. While some of the content are exclusive to Youku and air on Youku before any other platforms, it has some shortcomings that needs rectified. They are simple ones such as number of episodes in drama not displaying. On each drama it does not give this information. If it shows number of episodes, and on going drama episode numbers and updates information this will greatly help members. Another thing is preview of a show being able to see it without it going into watch history. While I don’t mind one I planned to watch go on my watch history, ones I don’t want to watch I do not want it listed there. I have to go into my profile to delete them from my watch history. Also there seems to be no reviews/ comments available for the fans of the show. My least favourable point is, asking the members to pay extra fee to watch special episodes. I believe these episodes are an extension of the story and should not be charged separately. So my point raised- 1 make episodes numbers visible 2 make preview of dramas available without any attachment to watch history. 3 add review/comment section connected to each drama Currently the way the streaming platform is formatted is not user friendly. I hope to see improvements of the said point, because I like the content of the platform very much.

There are lots of good dramas to watch but too many of them need vip. I really hope in the future less dramas need vip to watch or at least make it so we can watch just a few more episodes without vip

This app in my opinion is terrible all of the thing I wanted to watch for example till the end of the moon or the legend of ale most of the episodes were VIP I am ver sad about this because I was looking forward to watching these this app definitely needs a lot improving. Maybe I will redown load this when it has been improved but for now I will uninstall it I would not recommend it to anyone please make less things VIP Next my English subtitles were not there I think this has happened to a lot of people again this area needs improvement Thank you for reading this, Creators please improve sorry is any of this was annoying or rude to you, thank you have a good rest of the day.

Started off great but suddenly the english subtitles disappeared and now all I get are chinese subtitles. I have gone into settings enough times, deleted and reinstalled the App. All to no avail. Sadly, I will now have to stop my membership until I can sort this out. Pity, cause I really like YOUKU !

It looked good when I opened the app and it was however almost every single drama was VIP and some people do not have the opportunity to buy stuff online so as I think VIP is a good way of making profit, not all films have to be VIP

I have vip membership that finishes 16th April but when i click on dramas that’s says vip it tells me to join vip first. When o click join it says I’m already vip. I recently join good vip but not recognised at all. Either you pay me back my money or resolve this for me. Very annoying.

This is my first ever time writing a review as i am really disappointed with this app. Instead of waiting until they have fully developed the app to include casting and an iPad version. YOUKU rolled out the app hoping to cash in on the popularity of street dance of China. SDC is a show me and my family like to watch together. How are we suppose to do that with a small phone ?! Greedy seems to have come before common sense. Update: the new update is finally suitable for ipad,making the watching experience so much better…keeping my fingers crossed for the tv app
