App doesn’t seem to work on iPhones. My child cannot see the word he has typed. The spoken word sounds strange. Please refund money as your app doesn’t work!
I had to use the see word option every time as the enunciation was poor and not put in a context sentence . This may be fine for kidsthat will sit and work but spirited kids used to better animation and games are not impressed . I like the fact it is based on the u.k curriculum but that is asfaras it goes - the app needs professional help in the Graphics and IT dept
Hi I have just purchased this app and I can’t hear any of the words when I click the listen button. I have checked the sound setting on my iPad and every other app works with volume. Please can you fix this problem or if not I would appreciate a refund.
I apologise for the inconvenience but this was an accidental purchase, is there a chance it can be refunded? I’ll still leave a rating on this app (five stars?) Once again, sorry for this inconvenience
Many of the words are very oddly pronounced: you need to click on see the spelling to know what word is being tested, which kind of goes against the point of the app...
Great app but very poor pronunciation, please make it clearer.
I like the set up of the app and the words are relevant. Big downside is some of the words do not sound right at all! Hold, gold, cold for example.
Some of the spoken words you can listen to are hard to understand e.g. Climb sounds like fine etc. You can click "show" to see it written, but then you obviously see the spelling. I bought the app for my son to practice as his teacher says he needs work on common exception words (age 6, year 2, SATS coming up).... We'll see if it helps. Many spelling games for kids use uppercase letters, but atleast these are lowercase, which mirrors how they read and and write at school.
