As others have said, it doesn’t do anything to add value. And we still can’t access our own medical records. I was told I wasn’t allowed to see my blood collection results, I have to see my doctor. I don’t have a doctor. NS Health still refuses to address this problem. I have family in other provinces who can all access their test results via an internet connection. In a province trying to fix access to healthcare problems, this is a major oversight.

There is no reason the medical records in NS should not have been linked by now. Passovers between services should be smoother. I can’t even link it to my Apple Health should I choose to. These are all useful things and doable.

I have tried to create an account, but they have old phone number. Even when my new telephone number has been updated since June of last year. I contacted for help and they keep saying to go back to MSI. However MSI said there’s nothing that they can do since it is not that website. Could they just hire professional for this ? What a waste of taxpayer money…

Links everything together, easy to find what you need and get support!

This app basically provides links to various NS health webpages, nothing more. Each time you land on a page, or even come back to the same page, you have to log in again, each time using a specific login for that specific service. It’s like the health care system itself: nothing is joined up, you have to register every time you go anywhere.

Just booked blood work via the app - worked great. But, as other reviewers have noted, there is no way of saving a login profile, so it’s like going to a website in terms of having to add basic information each time. Please tell me they did not spend $10 million on this.

Compared to apps available in other provinces, and considering that this cost $10 million to produce, this app is disappointing. So much more could be done. Even entering your data is a chore. You can’t even add your cellular phone number for a verification code without having to call it in on a 1-800 line - even after verification via your health number and personal info. Needs more work quickly or users will abandon it.

The app is nothing than links to web pages. Doesn’t actually provide any enhanced services. It does not store any profile information so you constantly have to re-enter information as it bumps you back and forth to web browsers. Definitely not worth whatever it cost to develop. Would have been just as beneficial to add url shortcuts
