YouTube Music

I really loved this app in the beginning and have had it for a while now. However, there are several songs by different people that are now showing unavailable and not given any reason. I canceled my membership as of today, really wish this issue was fixed because it’s a great app :(

I feel like not enough appreciation is had for YouTube music fr… and I say this as someone who has Spotify and Apple Music too… the songs played after you play a random song on YouTube music is so in tune with what the random song was… it won’t go from reggaeton to rock or from RnB to Country music… it will actually play related songs from similar genres and help you discover new artists… another difference I noticed is, the volume and sound clarity. At the same volume, same headsets and with the same songs on these other apps I use, the songs sound better on YouTube music. YouTube did their big one with it🗣️

Due to some issue youtube has with SESAC, many songs from popular and obscure artists is entirely unavailable, even if downloaded. This is genuinely making me consider cancelling my youtube premium subscription and buying music from somewhere else not affected. Also some of my downloaded songs always start either a couple of seconds in or up to half way through. Its been like this for months.

Title pretty much summarizes my experience using the app. I found YT Music’s streaming ability to be better than Spotify’s. It’s like it knows what song I want to listen to next without me actually queuing it up. The songs I would discover on the app are really good, as well as the ones in the related songs section. Good stuff! 👍

Keeps deleting/removing/“unplayable”-ing my songs. I’m gonna lose it.

Most of my songs are unavailable and I need it to be fixed

The app was constantly crashing for over 2 months. Thankfully they fixed that, finally. However now when I try to play some of my liked songs it will ignore the one I choose and play a different song. If the app would work as intended it’d be 5 stars.

YouTube music is known for having pretty much every song known to man. I was looking in my playlist and YouTube removed 80% of the songs I had. Like real official artists, not remixes or anything. No one is going to want to use something that doesn’t have anything. Contracts and rights, I get it. But you can’t expect people to use an app that no longer has songs that the people want. I always use to have high praise about YouTube music, now it’s nothing. I would rather use Spotify honestly.

It’s a good app but recently they restricted a lot of the Green Day songs and now I can’t listen to them on this platform they’ve also restricted many of my other favorite songs I don’t know why because a lot of the songs have been on the platform for about two years at least but know of just recently they decided to restrict a lot of my favorite songs If anyone can tell me why they got restricted please tell
