Heerlijk alles bij de hand. Goede mogelijkheden voor playlists. Alleen heel jammer dat vandaag de prijs met maar liefst 12% is gestegen.

I want to listen to music. So please stop playing a random YouTube video after a song just because i saw a similar video on YouTube. I want MUSIC.

I love YouTube Music, but €17,99 for YT Premium feels like robbery at this point. Salaries aren’t rising that fast, Google! It’s the most expensive streaming service in the Netherlands! Heading back to Spotify, and if they raise their prices too, well… I can’t wait for Usenet to make a comeback.

Was een redelijk platform voor filmpjes en muziek. Omdat nu weer een forse prijsverhoging is aangekondigd, dit abonnement ook maar weer opgezegd. Er zijn gelukkig voldoende alternatieven met minstens dezelfde kwaliteit.

Started using this because I am already paying for ad-free YouTube. I was previously using the well known music app with the green icon, and I saw an opportunity to drop one monthly subscription and save some $. The music catalog is fine. However, after a couple months of use I find myself longing back to my previous music platform. This is entirely on account of how poor the CarPlay implementation of YouTube Music is. There’s also some adverse interaction with video YouTube. Some of the problems: - following an artist in music is also adding the artist as a video subscription, polluting my carefully tuned video recommendations - saving an album adds all its songs to “liked songs” this is bad. Albums and songs are different things. Some music is consumed by-the-album. - in CarPlay, the sort order of the album list is unclear (maybe it’s “most recently added”). It should be alphabetical. The album list doesn’t support jump-to-starting-letter. - tapping an album begins playback; should display track list instead. - in CarPlay, the liked songs list is truncated and incomplete. Also lacking prefix search. - I would like to use the on screen keyboard for search. This is not offered. I understand that there’s a road safety / responsibility argument here. The gist of it is that song selection and navigation don’t work very well in CarPlay. The Apple Music app and the third party one with the green icon both do a much better job.

Werkt niet zo handig als Youtube zelf. Kan premium lid worden voor bijna 13 euro. Als je zoals ik een paar liedjes per dag beluisterd (amateur) is dat veel te duur voor AOW er. Schandalig.

With horizontal screen, full screen mode keeps popping even if not desired. No possibility to disable it in the settings. In vertical screen mode a not correct resize of the page does not allow reading and selecting music from a queue list. All very annoying.

Google has one of the most horrible interfaces, I have this with you tube premium but not a fan at all.

I love YouTube Music, but the app is not on the same level as Spotify. The battery drain on my iPhone is frustrating, and the integration with Fitbit is not very good. It’s now available in my Tesla, but it still needs more work. I’m curious to see how it develops and looking forward to the updates. The BIG PLUS!!! YouTube premium sold it for me.

Privacy is in deze app blijkbaar niet meer van belang. Als je een maal aanmeld geef je toestemming en kun je niet meer uitloggen.
