Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner

This app is extremely helpful for making general dietary choices, but it could go so much further by including information about specific allergens, acidity, and other characteristics that could affect immediate and long term gut/body wellbeing.

We are a family that tries very hard to watch what we eat and eat the best Whole Foods as possible, but sometimes we need a snack or a quick bite to eat. We scan pretty much everything we get from the grocery store. This app makes it easy for us to find snacks that won’t compromise our healthy eating for us or our children. We appreciate the app and all the info that we get from each additive and ingredient. Love it!

I like this app a lot, but there’s a few things i would add. It would be nice if they also added if the product has harmful seed oils, and also if they had the ingredient list when searching up a product, and finally every once in a while a product will have inaccurate info, but overall it’s a great app

Yuka is my new obsession.. I love this fast and easy way to find out what is in our food. I used to take forever reading labels while grocery shopping but now I can find out seconds. It provides you with not only an excellent, good, poor or bad rating but also suggests healthier alternatives!

I find myself scanning “food” I’ve always bought before thinking it was not only safe but also healthy, only to find it was barely able to be consumed at all and far from healthy… but then to be given a healthier set of options on this app also??? Yes please. I am very grateful for this app and for the ease of use and convenience Yuka offers too, it makes shopping less about the reading and guessing and more about fact finding as to which food is actually food and which food is made with ingredients that will help me to live a healthier and longer life. Thank you Yuka.

When I search for products on the app, the same product appears multiple times, each with different ratings. How can I trust the app when one version of the product has good ratings and another has bad ones?

User friendly, tons of items are already scanned in the app - awesome for grocery shopping! My favorite feature is the ability to call out food companies for their hazardous additives in their food, with a pre filled email with studies backing it. KEEP IT UP! Love this app

This app is all around perfect for a person wanted wanting to know what they are eating is good or bad or what they is putting on their body is good or bad. The pictures all great seeing it makes it real win. You are in the supermarket or store a must have app The cost of this app is not bad worth the information no ads or influence. Thank you.
