Social media sites want your material they don’t want you. Zora changes that it’s different. I have a lot of fun on this app not a lot of friends here though so come and join me say hi @mj41maker

Zora is a trash app. I downloaded this app expecting to “earn for real” but it turned out to be a scam. After describing the issues with the Zora team, the app did not deliver as promised. Worse, there is practically no customer support or way to get a rectified. Many others have reported similar experiences, so I urge anyone considering this app to read the reviews carefully and avoid being misled. I hope action is taken against this app soon to prevent more people from being scammed.

I’ve used this platform since 2021 was very excited to build on this app however on top of seeing the same art all the time and the heavy bot activity on the platform possibly my biggest disappointment is seeing them scam so many artists that built this platform out of $740k by creating false and misleading criteria’s only to change them retroactively once called out about it. Completely turned off of Web3 as a whole if multi million dollar platforms can continue to scam artists with it. This was suppose to be different.

Minting is already my favorite activity online & now Zora has gone and somehow made it even more fun!!! I can’t take a photo without wanting to mint it immediately. Anyone who has ever posted a photo online is going to love this app. Also, I can’t leave a review without commenting on double tap to mint — ingenious.

On paper, I really do believe Zora is a fantastic concept. But in its execution and moderation- atrocious. I’m all for NFTs and Web3, but Zora is ran by a group of people who I genuinely believe are either laundering money or just have the absolute worst taste in content and art that I’ve ever seen. Seriously, just go on their explore page everyday for a week. Its littered in half-baked AI art or incredibly unfunny memes. I’m not even a hater of AI art- and some of the AI artists on the platform are great. But the curation of the site is a disaster. I swear it feels like some creators were “pre-chosen” to be the flagship creators for Zora? Go look at how they promote their platform online- it’s the same ~25 creators they share everytime and the content is sooooo bad/unappealing. I genuinely have no clue how Zora plans to onboard people to their platform when they showcase THE WORST content. I’ve literally seen individual creators have 3 posts make the Explore page at the same time all with NO MINTS. I’m being fully serious that 80% of the user base are airdrop farmers and bots. A good way to prove this is go look at the Trending page. Nearly every NFT that trends is a post that people are trying to airdrop farm. All the NFTs on the Trending page may as well just be advertisements. It’s honestly sad. Zora has such a great approach to creating a NFT platform and yet they succumb to the lowest common denominator of users. Its so funny they can claim their user base is growing when MOST ARE JUST IS FARMING FOR THE AIRDROP. I’ve found good creators on the platform that have almost no mints and never get showcased because the Zora team and user base is too preoccupied with promoting Zora itself and airdrop farming. How do they not realize that for the average person this is the lamest imageboard ever? Instagram, Tumblr, Are.na, Flickr, etc I COULD GO ON FOREVER all dunk on Zora. I can’t believe I genuinely think Instagram has a better future than Zora- I wish that wasn’t the case. I’m just ranting now. My suggestion is you should just use Zora and come to your own conclusion. I think if you just browse the Explore and Trending page daily for 1 week you will realize really quickly how big of a joke this site is. Can’t even exaggerate how bad the content is on the platform- it’s atrocious really. Zora employees if you read this, PLEASE focus on bringing great content creators to the site AND PROMOTING THEM- it doesn’t need to just be AI graphic designers that over

I’ve been using zora on web for a really long time and have loved it. But the mobile app is a whole new level of fun: super easy and fast, with no app switching required to use it. Big fan!
