This app doesn’t work on my phone. It only works on desktop which is disappointing. Whenever I try to log in and join my organizations chat, it takes ages to load or it doesn’t load at all. And in the case I am already logged in and on my organizations chat, none of the chats load. This has been going on for over 6 months now. Please fix this.

Uploading photos has always been a terrible experience and now it doesn’t work at all :(

I cannot find it anywhere so could not login using ipad. Please make the UI more user friendly. Server url is very hidden and kept secret but should be very public instead

Can’t even paste the url to start it all up. Not even started & failing. Catastrophic adoption barrier.

Works pretty good. It would be nice to swipe through images within the topic.

Update Sept 2021: why are the media upload options still not working? No one is even asking for a polished design or anything. They’re willing to have a duct-taped together app that lets you view the forums. Still can’t upload a PDF on the app. —— Sometimes the buttons to upload files (paperclip, iOS file system etc.) show up. Other times it only shows photo and camera access. When it did show up, it was when the reply to comment button showed up beside the text box, which only intermittently appears even if you have tapped on a comment. If you long press the comment, reply is an option, but the file attachment is only photos. I managed to get a PDF to start uploading, but the keyboard was then pushed off the screen, so I couldn’t hit enter to post it. There may be a related issue to handling landscape to portrait while composing.

very difficult to navigate, and i say this as a 19 year old who is terminally online 24/7:

I want to love this app... I really do. It looks great and my home server runs with no hiccups at all. It’s solid. However on the iOS app there is no way to enable “hit enter to send”. As I use my ipad most of the time... with a connected keyboard case... this is a MAKE OR BREAK feature. If a Dev sees this and there is an option somewhere, please reply! The other thing I’d like to see (but isn’t a deal breaker) is the ability to turn off the whole “topic” system. I don’t need a bunch of topics or the confusion to my users. We simply need one big group chat (no topics) and the ability to private message one another.

I use the latest zulip server app and there are no notifications even though all toggles are checked

I cannot sign into an existing server on this app so it’s just totally unusable. I’m stuck on this sign in loop: enter server url -> username password -> pick account (?) -> repeat
