Even on powerful devices like the iPad A16 or modern flagship phones, the game constantly struggles with issues such as: • Ultimate animations randomly dropping to a blurry 144p • Characters disappearing and reappearing when opening menus • 60 FPS on screen but severe frame pacing issues causing jitter • Delayed model loading and shadow glitches in the open world • UI elements loading slowly and touch responsiveness feeling off These problems make it clear that the mobile port was not given enough attention or care. Your device being strong doesn’t hide these flaws — the issue is not the player, it’s the game. If Wuthering Waves is going to perform this poorly on mobile, it would’ve been more honest for the developers not to release it on mobile at all. However, the game suffers from notable issues that hinder its overall experience. There is a conspicuous lack of male characters, particularly four-star units, which makes character variety feel limited and uninspiring. Additionally, the game includes fan service scenes that are highly sexualized and often problematic. For example, the scene involving Cartheythia on the boat with a male Rovers, where she blushes and acts childish despite her mature appearance, feels out of place. She appears overly young and vulnerable, which could be seen as exploiting fetish interests, especially since many female characters are attracted to Rover, creating a sense of an anime-style harem. This aspect adds an uncomfortable layer to the game’s appeal. Furthermore, the emphasis on five-star characters appears to overshadow the potential for four-star units, making the roster feel bland and overly focused on elite characters. Overall, if you enjoy visually stunning combat and are comfortable with the fan service elements aimed at a specific audience, this game might appeal to you.
