It only notifies when you are using the app. Even with the notification setting all switched on at the phone level & the app is logged in, there is no notification unless you activate / open the app. This totally goes against timely notification of motion detection. Don’t use this app or buy cameras that can only use this app. I hope the app developer reads this & improve the app for email notification with pic included for motion detection notification as well as notification on the phone even when the phone is idle / the app is not activated. Please see YYP2P app for the better motion detection options that i mentioned above.
