WTMD Total Music Discovery

The radio station itself is fantastic. I listen to them frequently and donate when I can. The most recent versions of their app have been problematic, however. (as of 4/21/‘25 +-) Very slow to load, sometimes over a minute, and now the playlist, a prime function of the app, will not update. There are some other minor issues also, but I can tolerate them.

I love this radio station. I listen from Atlanta all the time. The new app “ upgrade” is terrible. Takes forever to load and does not work with car play that I can tell.

Straight forward app. Nice to have something to listen to with my phone locked.

Love WTMD, the app gets me there!

Wherever I am in the world, I gotta have my WTMD! This app makes it so easy.

This is hands down the best radio station period. I am constantly discovering performers who I never hear anywhere else !!!

Does exactly what it needs to do. Not cluttered with stupid extras. TMD is the best.

We moved away and truly miss the DJ’s and programming. Musically, if have any taste, then you already know. Rob, Alex, both Bob’s, Carrie and all the DJ’s rock. The app…it will stop periodically and randomly. Mostly when in our cars, but a quick restart and we’re good for another 20 minutes.

I enjoy WTMD music and stream WTMD at home and in the car from Florida. The problem is I have to restart the app and press play every time I start the car, even if I just stopped for a minute. I don’t have this problem with other music streaming apps. I’ve sent feedback through the app but never get a response.

Great looking interface. I love that the iPad version will also run on my M2 MacBook Air. I lived in the DC Metro area for 30 years and now I live in RVA. We have great public radio in Richmond, but it's so great to spend time listening to WTMD. Keeps me connected to the great Baltimore sound!
