De naam AccuWeather is niet zomaar gekozen. We zijn in staat om uiterst nauwkeurige (accurate) weersverwachtingen te produceren. Daarom hebben we ons merk “AccuWeather” genoemd, een naam die weergeeft wat ons belangrijkste product is, namelijk nauwkeurige (accurate) weersverwachtingen.  Ons hele bedrijf zet zich dagelijks in voor het behoud van onze reputatie als beste en meest nauwkeurige bron van weergegevens ter wereld. 

Dagelijks vertrouwen er zo'n 1,5 miljard personen overal ter wereld op AccuWeather bij het plannen van hun activiteiten voor werk en vrije tijd. Zo kunnen ze hun dag beter benutten. AccuWeather geeft specifieke weersverwachtingen in meer dan 100 talen en dialecten met Superior Accuracy™ voor locaties over de hele wereld. Dat zijn meer locaties dan welke particuliere of overheidsdienst dan ook.

Als het om weerberichten en -informatie gaat, loopt AccuWeather voorop met unieke, eigen functies zoals AccuWeather MinuteCast®, die van minuut tot minuut voorspelt of er de komende twee uur neerslag gaat vallen. En dan ook nog precies voor jouw straat of GPS-locatie. Deze functie geeft in het kort aan wat voor neerslag er de komende 120 minuten zal vallen en hoeveel, inclusief de begin- en eindtijden voor jouw locatie.  MinuteCast® is beschikbaar voor de Verenigde Staten, Canada, Zweden, Denemarken, Engeland, Ierland, Japan, Frankrijk, Spanje, Duitsland, België, Andorra, Noorwegen, Finland, Estland, Zwitserland, Nederland, Luxemburg, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein en een groeiend aantal locaties elders ter wereld.
