HOWEVER this game becomes so incredibly annoying to play after a certain point and it’s all because of the gacha system. Basically, In order to level up characters you need to pull them from the gacha system which is makes it impossible to get the characters you want/need. I have been playing for months and I still have SO MANY character stuck at low levels because I just never pull them. This stops you from playing the game properly, having fun with team comps and using characters you like/that are stronger. It’s so hard to keep going with this game with such an annoying and poorly thought out ascension system. The bad news is, there seems to be a bug or glitch at the loading screen. Some reviewers have said that they’ve had a black screen. Mine just stays loading after the downloading of additional content. At the moment, the game is no longer playable. The good news is, from the limited time I’ve spent playing, the game was fun and straight forward. I love the Japanese voiceover with English subtitles. The artwork is unique and also aesthetically pleasing. With regards to pay to win, I haven’t really felt that yet but I’ve also only played maybe 30-45 minutes worth of gameplay, so I’d still consider myself as early game. UPDATE: game has been running pretty smoothly for the last few days now 👍🏻. I am seeing why some may think this game is pay to win, but I see the game “pay to accelerate” sort of thing. I really love the strategy involved with formations and different kits and ammo. However, if you don’t have the ad skip, the game can be a bit dull. Which is understandable, however you should play with the understanding that if you want a full experience. You will have to pay for the ad skip. (Tbf for me it was worth it, and it is nice to have a sort of “trial” of the game with everything, to see if you like the game enough for it to be worth it) Sometimes progression can slow a little, but never to the point that you feel like it’s nescasary to buy something. TLDR: depending on how much you enjoy the game, you’ll want to buy the ad pass, for me I enjoyed it quite a bit and bought it, but if you don’t play 1hr+ a day you’ll still be able to progress without it and have a fun time. -- complaints improve games, 2024-05-31 ### ****- "Not really free" This is a good incremental gacha.
