Was a great app
Love this app, highly recommend Reduced to one star as every time I open it it now crashes, I e tried deleting and reloading but doesn’t help, please fix as this was a brilliant app till recently

At a glance you can see the nearest lightning. Displayed on the map and in text, you see the current distance from the thunderstorm to your location. You can even set up a push message, notifying you for approaching storms.
This App is unique and a must for your safety during outdoor activities. The information is based on the detection network of Meteoplaza.com. With this network 98% of all lightning discharges are detected, resulting in a high quality of the warnings!

Lightning Alarm Premium can be purchased through iTunes for € 3.49 per year. € 3.49 will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions are user-managed and auto-renewal can be turned off by going to Apple ID settings. By purchasing Lightning Alarm Premium you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Stopped Working
Simply shuts down when you open the app. Also thinks I am off the coast of Nigeria!
Used to be better
Have had this app for a few years now and it was good, but it has not shown the cloud cover for over a week now. Have deleted and reinstalled but still nothing, also glitchy now. Bring back the old one please.
No lightning alarms ‘within 100km’ despite watching a thunderstorm…
I’ve just been startled by a lightning flash within about a kilometre of my location, judging by the sound delay. Surprised I wasn’t notified by the app, I opened it to find the most recent flash warning ‘more than 100km away’. App deleted as clearly not worth the storage space on my phone.
Good up until now
This app has been brilliant until recently where it just closes as soon as you open it. Can’t seem to contact the developer to report the issue.
Lightning
Only just downloaded the app but It didn’t recognise the one lightning and Thunder clap tonight in my area but did show in others.
Didn’t detect the lightning.
Been trialing two apps for a few months. The other app alerted me. Heard thunder all around. Checked this app, said nearest strike over 100k away. I will be uninstalling this app and relying on the other one to help keep us safe.
Force closing
I used to love this app but it’s been constantly force closing even uninstalled and reinstalled but not working at all for me
Now quits all time
No problem until now, but will now not work- just quits at launch. No luck from reinstalling etc
Failure
Will not operate with latest IOS
