The regular amazon app has dedicated notification settings in the app for important notifications. we have to frequently check the app for offers, most of the time the delivery opportunities are missed and this is frustrating. While delivering the packages, the notifications never arrive 100% and there is continuous fear of losing a delivering opportunity for reserved block. On top of that when a reserve block arrives, it gives you only 8 minutes to accept, sometimes a person is sleeping, doing household chores, or at some other work and don’t get time to check app in those 8 minutes, that’s another missed opportunity; thus please increase time to accept an offer for reserved block. Pleas don’t state that we are not using updated version of the app, we do regular update the app.Please find a solution. -- Harmeet1993, 2025-04-22 ### *---- "Bots" I feel like there is alot of talk about bots. I personally like them. I think without the bot you’re still facing alot of competition and will not have a fun time doing this. Without the bot it is way more stressful and playing into amazons favour…there is alot of opinions from both sides on this issue. Neither is completely wrong…and at the end of the day we have to remember that amazon’s employees themselves created this issue. Amazon itself does whatever whenever it can to get out of any consequences or adjustments. They don’t care about a single driver even in the tiniest bit. If they did you would receive almost all offers in the same way you would on uber or skip or doordash. This refresh method is guaranteed to be harming someone’s mental health and wellbeing right now. It’s manipulative and it’s designed to make you feel low. I’m a human with emotions and obligations. I am not a rat in a lab test. At first I loved it. But now I’m starting to wonder what’s going on. I do not get good offers. They are mostly at 3-5am in the morning when I cannot drive. I have kids so I can’t do that. Best time for me is evening and I don’t get any evening offers anymore. Not to mention they never say where you will be delivering. Pick up location is a45 mins drive the other end of the city. When I agreed and set my location for my side of the city they said they have deliveries now for here. I haven’t received 1. Id really appreciate where I’m delivering so I can plan my route and driving time. And also more time slot options not just 3-5am. Gas is expensive can’t afford to drive for 1 hour for pick up and then all over town. I enjoy this gig but honestly send more offers please. I can’t accept to reject. Why? Because you might find yourself assigned to long routes. For instance, if you accept a $75 block that requires you to drive 20 kilometers for your first delivery, you'll end up earning around $50 for 3 or 3.5 hours of work. What makes it even worse is their so-called “bot detection” system, the captcha challenge. Honestly, it’s one of the worst implementations I’ve ever seen. It pops up randomly and just slows things down even more, making it harder for actual human drivers to grab a block.
