The issue is that it stops playing after a short period if the software doesn’t get attention. You can’t start it playing and leave it for the day, it just pauses until you tell it to keep playing.

Please tell me why you have made it so the only way I can listen to my DOWNLOADS WHILE OUT OF SERVICE is to put the app in offline mode… do you not see how annoying that is! The songs are downloaded they should automatically work…. Worst music streaming app ever so I guess I should be surprised.

Every subscription feeds a system that mistreats employees, underpays artists, and prioritizes corporate profits over human well-being.

Workers Suffer So You Can Stream

Amazon’s warehouse employees and delivery drivers endure brutal conditions to support its massive digital infrastructure. While subscribers enjoy unlimited music, the people behind Amazon’s supply chain are pushed to their physical and mental limits, facing long hours, intense surveillance, and unsafe working conditions. Amazon could afford to pay fair wages and improve working conditions, but instead, it spends billions fighting unions and silencing critics.

Mediocre Music Library, Maximum Upselling

Amazon Music’s catalog is vast, but the experience is frustrating. Many features are locked behind Amazon Music Unlimited, forcing users to upgrade for basic functionality like skipping songs freely. Even Prime members don’t get an ad-free experience without paying extra—because squeezing more money out of customers is Amazon’s entire business model.

Artists Deserve Better

Amazon, like other major streaming platforms, underpays musicians while raking in billions. Independent artists struggle to earn a living, while Amazon pockets the profits. If you care about supporting musicians, consider streaming services that offer better revenue-sharing models—or better yet, buy music directly from artists whenever possible.

Amazon Music isn’t just another streaming service—it’s another cog in a machine that thrives on exploitation. There are better, more ethical alternatives that don’t contribute to Bezos’s growing fortune at the expense of workers and artists.

For something you have to pay for it has pretty poor benefits. I have free Spotify and get more benefits with unlimited skips on my computer version. I don’t bother using this app as Spotify free is better. 
I would use this app if it had free skips and could organise your music how you want it, and play songs you actually want to listen to at the time…. Selection of songs is important for music for me.
