Separate the rolls before glazing!

Over the holidays I’ve made several batches of these rolls. I absolutely love them and so do the people I’ve shared them with. I followed the recipe and it’s very easy to follow. This afternoon I did try something different and after cooling for thirty minutes I separated the rolls and then applied the glaze so the glaze covers all side of the rolls and I must say I like them even more. Try it I think you’ll like it. Each roll has even more orange flavor without being over powering.

My go to cooking app

This is the best app I’ve ever had. We’ve had this subscription for years and will always have it. Their new innovative, recipes and advice is always welcomed in the kitchen.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for!

I have tried making a few different recipes for steel cut oats, including the ‘winning recipe’ on the Bob’s Red Mill bag. None of them turned out to be what I was looking for until this recipe! I made it exactly as written, and it came out perfect! I topped with a little brown sugar and a splash of half & half.

Seldom does a recipe not work through this platform. This is my go to for 95% of my recipe collection(s).

Beautiful home fries!

These turned out better than any breakfast potatoes I’ve ever made. I did add about 10 more minutes in the oven before adding the onions, so the potatoes were a little browner. 15 minutes after adding the onions, I stirred/baked everything 2 more times with 10 minute intervals to get the desired crispness. It’s probably just my oven. I added a little red bell pepper along with the onions for color. They look, smell and taste awesome. I’ll be making these much more often!

I will definitely make this again. I made it the night before and then when I reheated it in the oven the next day, I kept it covered to retain the moisture. It was excellent and I’ll keep this for future parties.

Pure chocolate cookie satisfaction

Easy to make. Light, crispy outside with a rich, deep, chewy chocolate brownie texture and flavor inside. My family loved them after our Christmas dinner. It hit that bite of something sweet after our rich beef tenderloin dinner. I baked them ahead and placed them in an airtight container which kept them fresh. I plan to make these for all winter holiday cookie plates.

Dietary restrictions

I was prepared to put in three days with this app. In an hour of trying to find a reasonable meal plan for the week I tried to use the surprise me filter. I am gluten and dairy free. Those are not restrictions. Those are allergies. Every single recipe suggested had either gluten or dairy and in most cases both. My front page had very few recipes that weren’t just a steak. End navigating the app felt more like searching through a Google recipe search, which is a big thumbs down for me.
