I’m forced to craft a 3rd year anniversary bag and when i complete the dialogue, I don’t get any crafting rewards, and the quest is still there. I know my issue is more of a bug but for now I’ll just wait out the event until I’ll make another account. The VIP system is pretty disgusting in the sense that you actually lose max level VIP status if you don’t keep spending around $40 a month in the store. That’s just criminal to charge that much for a few extra rewards per day in a sub par mobile game. The VIP system should either be progressive with no diminishing status, or be a small flat rate like $5 a month. There are multiple packages in the shop that are close to $100... I don’t mind spending some money on a game if I enjoy it, as I have the luxury of disposable income, but this game is on another level. The gameplay honestly doesn’t even warrant such high prices on everything. Also the localization is pretty bad. Or hire an editor or something! This is one of the worse translations I’ve seen in a free game. In fact, not even everything is translated. Half of it is in Korean, which I can’t read. On a related note, the explanations are lacking. I suspect even if they were translated better I’d be confused. I was stuck in the mine at the start for so long because it just plops you in with little instruction besides a comic that doesn’t help with this.... One thing in particular which honestly is enough to make me want to uninstall this is a “surprise quiz” you get on gem collection—from anywhere, even achievements. And this “quiz” makes absolutely no sense. There’s no rules, no explanation, and the animation goes so fast you miss it. And when you fail (I say when because with no explanation this quiz is impossible, it’s about luck) you don’t get the gems from the thing you clicked to trigger the quiz, nor can you collect any gems for the next 10 mins. What a bad mechanic for a game. I can’t see any reason this is here other than to add another layer of coercion to get you to purchase gems. On top of all of this, the surprise quiz makes no sense!! It’s not a true quiz it’s a little animation and you have options of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and there’s no explanation! It makes no sense! And when you go to their ‘help’ section there’s no info on it. A major oversight in my opinion... (Update: the time gets longer with each wrong answer, starts at 10 mins, then it’s an hour, now it’s 3 hours for 3 wrong answers...... yep you can’t gain any gems unless you pay real money for 3 whole hours. What a scam.) There’s just a lot of little things that are very unclear, and the poor translations just bring the quality of the entire game down. It’s kind of fun but you have to muddle through a lot it feels like. Just adds up to feeling like another cash grab of a game, with all the pieces I see. It just seems sloppily crafted to throw onto the App Store as quick as possible and earn a quick buck. Not saying games can’t earn money, I get it, but if you can’t offer clear and compelling gameplay what is there for me in this game? And can I add, it’s a small detail, but I chose a girl and the story still shows that I’m a boy. Why even give me a choice if you force my story to have a boy.
