Cannot understand why some scored it low!
Nearly didn’t download this app due to some negative reviews. But I did and it is brilliant. I read the instructions on how to use it before I did my first measurement. I then did the 5 free measurements for 5 different trees and compared the results with the Suunto Clinometer and tape measure method. Results were very close matches with less than 5% individual variance and only 0.5% if taken overall. This is well within the error variance found in other studies on tree height measurements. Just as accurate and much easier to use. I will definitely be paying for additional usage. And of course, you only really know if such measurements are accurate if you climb or fell the tree!
