ArriveCAN still contains Advance CBSA Declaration, which allows you to answer customs and immigration questions up to 72 hours in advance of flying into Canada. It is currently available to international air travellers who enter Canada at selected airports.
By submitting your customs and immigration information in advance, you will spend less time at a primary inspection kiosk (PIK) or eGate when you arrive at the airport. This contributes to shorter line-ups in arrivals halls.
At the border, you will be prompted to scan your travel document at a primary inspection device and confirm your identity. Once your identity has been confirmed, your Advance CBSA Declaration will be retrieved from ArriveCAN for you to review and certify. If changes are required, you can edit and update your declaration prior to certification.
Use of the Advance CBSA Declaration feature of ArriveCAN is entirely optional.

User friendly apps
Easy to use apps for advance declarations
ArrivCan
This is my 2nd time using the ArrivCan. I find it easy to understand and it’s user friendly. It was a breeze filling the information the 2nd time. Thank you!
My First Visit To Canada
Since the onset of the pandemic in late 2019 and with travel restrictions imposed all over the world I was reluctant to travel until after being fully vaccinated. I applied for Canadian visa in December and gotten it by January 2022. For now I find it stressful to travel. If not for my grandson whom I have not seen in person for 3 years I would not subject myself to this pain. I would be taking a 15 hour flight from Singapore to Vancouver and would be arriving on February 5th morning. I am hoping it is worth the pain, to see my grandson who will be celebrating his 6th birthday next week. I have fulfilled all the requirements needed in ArriveCAN and hoping my first visit to Canada will be memorable such that I want to come back and see more of Canada beautiful scenery. No notifications
I cannot sign in using my phone. I can sign in with iPad but I don’t receive notifications. I have been in Canada for 4 days.
ArriveCAN? More like ArriveSCAM!
Total waste of taxpayers’ money.
Pointless App
What is the point of this app if it still makes you stop and answer the exact same questions again at the airport kiosk? This doesn’t save time for travellers, it saves money on border agents for the CBSA. Useless.
Was not sure how to answer the question about unaccompanied goods.
We had a bag lost and it may be gone forever However it may be found at some point Not sure if I should have recorded it as unaccompanied goods So I did just in case they found it in the next 20 hours
Terrible app. Even now i am unable to access the keyboard despite having modern updated phone
Awful code. Employ a programmer under th age of 30 please
