I use it every day for my learning for years. 
Besides the advantage of having the full shas in my pocket it enhanced my learning. Search, bookmarks, adding my notes, colours... it’s so powerful!
On my iPad 4 is also very fast and almost never had a crash. 
I go back to regular paper only on Shabbos and moed.

Used to be a great app, but now text overflows on the left side of the screen making it unusable. It was such a useful resource beforehand and now totally neglected,?

If there was alternative out there I would try that. This is painfully slow and I wouldn't dream of using it for daf yomi. 
Having said that, there are some nice benefits to a digital version of Artscroll Gemara which is why it has 1 star and not zero.

I paid $800 for this app. I find it disgraceful that I have to wait some 10 seconds each time the general dedication to disappear and then more time to get rid of each mesechta's dedication. This is not only annoying, but distracting and a cause of Bitul Torah
