ASA’s Sailing Challenge (for iPhone/iPad) includes six fun, easy-to-use modules that unlock the mysteries of sailing. Learn Points of Sail, Apparent Wind, Sail Trim, Tacking and Jibing, Rules of the Road, and Docking. Then, put it all together when you sail around a course against the clock in the Sailing module.

Blocky and runs slow
Runs very slow on my iPad, probably because my iPad is old but it does have the correct software so should run ok, disappointed.

Money gone
I bought the all products bundle within the app yesterday. Today it says I need to re buy it. Surely you shouldn’t have to re buy wind angles every time you play? If that is how you have designed the game it needs fixed or else you are just money grabbing. If it’s just a glitch I would like my all products bundle back because the game isn’t nearly as good without it!!
Keep refreshing sailing knowledge at home
I did the basic RYA sailing course a few years ago and this is a way to keep refreshed and practise the techniques particularly about sail trim and wind angles. Even if you’ve never done the course you can learn in a fun way. It’s the only app I’ve paid for and worth every penny
A fun app for beginners
I like the fact that it has a sailing simulator for me to get the hang of the basics of sailing before i even get near an actual boat.
Breaks monotony of lockdown!
I sail a 16 foot Bermudan rigged sailing canoe and also radio control sail a quarter scale laser. During the lockdown I am not permitted either on the water. This app is great for breaking up the boredom and is almost identical to sailing the model boat. I can’t say it is making me a better sailor but it is making me less of a pain around the house!
Doesn't work on old iPad mini
Works of my iPhone 7 OK but people seem to report issues with old kit. Shame as it's quite fun.
Works too slowly
Bit disappointing really, works too slowly on my iPad to be any use...

I am now 84. Used to be a great’ dinghy sailor. I have found your game very difficult but know I can improve. Thank you. Ron Clements
