## AutoEntry Description
AutoEntry automates data entry by accurately capturing, analysing and posting all of your invoices, receipts, expenses and statements into your accounting solution.
With the AutoEntry mobile app, you can snap and capture invoices and receipts on the go, then edit and split the resulting expenses, and even create Expense Reports to add them to and submit for approval!

*Please Note: You must be an existing AutoEntry user to log in to this app.

AutoEntry seamlessly integrates with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, Kashflow, Reckon and more.

The system was sold to us as a speed of use and instant integration with our accounts package from the same supplier.
We found the system to be superb right up to the point of rebranding to sage.
We’ve lost the function of being able to add data to the uploads and now we are just sending pictures to our office through the software.
We could do this via messaging services.
We now find in the last month auto entry has increased our manual input hours has increased back to prior system integration.
We are now considering removing the system completely as we’re discussing each receipt with the office where as before the engineers could automate this and allocate to projects.
Would of given no stars if I could as this simply doesn’t do what it says. It’s basically a camera roll only app.
I would advise trialing the system and features prior to committing your business to this app.

Digital island still on the way, can’t upload screenshot, no access to photo albums, photos from main album display in chaotic order. This app need small cosmetic adjustment and little bit more attention.

Update: above ware sort it, thanks for that, however now once I select images from my photo gallery I can’t add it because “done” button is hidden behind battery icon on the top right corner and I’m unable to tap it, same with exit “x” icon on the top left, this is hidden behind clock.

Pretty dismal doesnt matter how much care you take usually get an error  saying image not clear. 
I am using an iphone 12 so it can take a decent image. 
It would be better if it scanned image's. 
This is how i am currently doing it using dropbox app. 
But then I have to manually upload the scans. 
SO !! Add a scan document feature and it might actually work well.

Can no longer do simple things like upload receipts, They’ve disappeared and instead showing all my historic receipts I would prefer to filter out.  Just tried adding mileage entry I can’t even change a date for the journey date as it’s hidden off the screen.

No updates to app available and last update to app was 5months ago. I’m on current iOS version.

Issues:
- you can’t delete the picture
- you can’t see the description of the previous pictures
- it says “upload in progress” but it is in fact processing in progress which happens manually
- overpriced, you pay £18 a month for manual checking, there is no intelligent AI recognising the receipts
- the design is extremely poor
- you have to click return in order to upload the photo after writing the description, you can’t just write and press upload, the click chain is too long
- no way to specify which bank account was used for the receipt
- no way to change the description of a picture once it is processing

This app is so dated and lacks investment no thought, it so far behind the competition. It reminds me of apps from the early 2000’s.

The app idea is fantastic, while the actual use of the app is so so. 
Sadly when we added the app to an iPad then it is hit and miss if it works at all. Between crashing and failing to select an image the app seems to just cost more time and energy instead of saving it.

The email service seems to be good though. Apart from that I am not impressed and now looking for alternative.

80+ receipts stuck ‘in the ether’ as uploading or processing... after almost 3 hours on the ‘chat’ with Auto Entry and after 4 different people have been helping me (one just disappeared on lunch and chat was hanging for 30 mins before someone else picked up (they too left)

I’m really enjoying using auto entry on the whole.. it has good sage 50 integration, and the customer support has been fantastic. However... for clients who just need to take photos, the app will suffice. But as the accountant, I can’t do anything within the app, and, the website activity and inbox pages don’t work well on my mobile. I hope the app will be developed soon. Will update when I’ve had chance to test on iPad.
