## B-hyve Pro Description
The B-hyve Pro App provides landscape irrigation professionals with an easy way to manage and operate B-hyve Pro controllers from anywhere with the convenience of a smart phone or tablet.  With the intuitive layout and design of the app, it is fast and easy to connect to any B-hyve Pro controller through WiFi or, if WiFi is not available, directly through Bluetooth right at the timer location.  Once connected to WiFi, B-hyve can be set up in smart mode to assist in delivering the right amount of water to plants, saving clients water and money.
This is the companion App for award-winning B-hyve Pro irrigation controllers. Homeowners can download the non-Pro version of the B-hyve App at no charge.

***KEY FEATURES***
WIFI and BLUETOOTH – Because WiFi is not always available on a job site, the B-hyve app and controller allow you to set up and operate the controller using Bluetooth. Once a WiFi connection is established at a site, the owner of the WiFi router can provide a permission code that enables off-site management of the controller from anywhere in the world.

EPA- AND SWAT-CERTIFIED – Having passed the rigorous EPA WaterSense and SWAT certifications, the B-hyve Pro Controller with Smart Watering is certified to use water more efficiently and is eligible for rebates in many cities or water districts across the country.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING – You can set the controller to water in two basic ways: 1) on a fixed schedule, such as during a new landscape grow-in period; 2) with Smart Watering, and let local weather conditions determine the schedule.

MULTI-SITE MANAGEMENT – You can manage and control an unlimited number of B-hyve controllers from the convenience of one application.  Once the timer is connected to the Internet, secure access can be shared in a number of different combinations using an app-generated code.

CATCH CUPS – With various water savings options integrated right into the app, there are multiple ways to achieve optimum water savings with the B-hyve Pro Timer.  In addition to Smart Watering, it incorporates the award-winning catch-cup feature right into the app to deliver up to 25% more water savings over other smart controllers.

I put down new turf but was going to be away off and on. I set the timer for 30 minutes three times a day.
The timer worked perfectly and the turf looks amazing.
I recommend this time to everyone. I will now set up lawn watering on alternate days and drip watering of my potted plants twice daily.

One of the easiest systems to use and implement. It the unpredictable climate of southern Alberta I found this system with its phone app a game changer. As much as I like the pre-programming, there are times the garden needs a little extra.  This makes it so easy. Also it is so handy to turn on a zone then off again instantly so you can make adjustments.

My wife would spend 4 to 6 hours a day watering our property gardens.
We put in the orbit WiFi system with 6 zones and she now has her life back….
It automatically waters the whole yard gardens and hanging baskets.
She can control the system with her phone if it needs extra watering.
Mind you it took me 3 months to put in the under ground piping for it all but we are so happy with the end results.

Initial physical install was easy.  The terminal strip in the unit for zone connections was surprisingly low quality, requiring very careful screw loosening and tightening to avoid stripping the screw head.  Included screw driver was useless. They really need to put a higher quality zone connection strip in the unit.

Software was very easy to use, allowing me to set up 10 zones in a few minutes.  I  think I'll really like the unit, unless I have to rearrange zones in which case I'll probably make a cross-connect using high quality terminal strips to avoid touching the screws again inside the case for fear of stripping a screw head.  I hope they improve this soon and preferably warranty replace my unit if and when they have the terminal strip problem solved.  I've used many brands such as Rainbird and Hunter.  Both use high quality terminal strips.

I’ve noticed big difference in the app usage and connection stability comparing with last year, I am using two devices and now switching between them smoothly and showing the current watering, which was not working last year. 
One nice enhancement I would propose is the ability to connect two devices to Alexa, right now only one can be configured.
