My french has improved since using babbel. That’s a fact. No system is perfect on it’s own - immersion in the language is key if you want to improve. Unlike other apps though, their program is more grammar focused, which I like, and they also uses a lot of colloquial phrases and words - unlike some other methods that teach a more theoretical french that is frozen in time. I really do think they can improve on their compendium of audio programs though. Their podcasts are very good, but not abundant like in duolingo. Overall I think it‘s worth your money. I really dont get all those comments complaining about „having to pay“ for this app. Do you do your job for free too? Such a strange thing to complain about when there are other alternatives for free. Use those if you don‘t want to pay, but it‘s absurd to expect things to just be free.

Gave it a 3 star. Because I had to pay when learning languages from this app. Liked it but wasn’t able to pay. Making it free will help. And will probably give you more money. You can just do Busuu+ If you still want it like that.
