Created by mum of three, foodie and Instagrammer @babyledkitchen, all the recipes are nutritionally balanced, easy for babies to eat by themselves, quick to cook and budget-friendly. No slaving away at a hot stove or hunting round supermarkets for hard to find ingredients! There is no upper age limit to any of our recipes, they can be enjoyed by the whole family. We do not hide premium content behind an in-app purchase - once you've purchased the app, all updates and recipes are free for life. Come and join our community.

I’ve struggled with a few of the recipes - simple things like knowing if the oven temp is fan, how many muffins/loaves to expect to make, whether butter should be melted (and when to add as recipe doesn’t mention it), should basil be chopped…list goes on 😕 there’s no mechanism to provide feedback on recipes or ask questions and the app hasn’t been updated in 2 years (I’ve had it for just over 2 years). That said, there are some great ideas and I’ve used lots of the recipes - I’ve just had to use my intuition and freestyle some of them!

I have used this app loads for inspiration from the beginning of my daughters weaning journey and continue to use regularly! The recipes are simple and tasty with a wide variety of styles/cuisines. I love that they are never fiddly and lots can be prepared ahead of time ready for busy days. The bales are great as you know they are always low in refined sugar and most can be completed with a little helper in tow! Would definitely recommend!

I like the recipes, and it’s nice having all of them in one place. But I have some issues with the app functionality. I find it to be slow..it takes a few seconds to load any of the recipes or to go back, and considering it’s just a simple page with the recipe and steps, I’m not sure why it’s so slow. Also, the search function isn’t great. I have to use a work that is in the title of the recipe- would be great to search for any ingredient or allergen. Would also be good to have new recipes added periodically, with notifications for users.

I downloaded this app when my baby turned 6 months at the start of our weaning journey and it has been an absolute saviour! My little one is now 9 months and I have cooked numerous recipes 3-4 times per week for breakfast, lunch AND dinner, and it just keeps giving. Great variety, healthy and most importantly delicious, some dishes (pea&pesto fritters for example) have now become firm favourites on our table. 
Wouldn’t rate full 5 stars as some recipes do not quite work and need quantities adjusted, I’m a confident cook and use my own judgement so it’s not a huge issue but might be problematic for others.

There’s easy quick recipes in case we’re having an off day which I love simple flick through app easy to navigate with clear content could do with adding portion sizes some of them state some of them don’t but you can kinds of work it out by some the grams of the ingredients

I was recommended this by a fellow mum when I was wanting some finger food/snack ideas for my baby with dairy and egg allergy. Have made three of the recipes so far and they’ve worked brilliantly. Favourite by far is the tomato and basil scones (using flaxseed as an egg substitute) - need to make more as baby struggling to get a look in!

A brilliant selection of simple, tasty recipes that I can cook for my 7 month old baby. The app is nice and straight forward to use and doesn’t over complicate things by trying to do ‘too much’. The recipes and search function make it’s easy to browse or find something specific and the shopping list function is a nice added touch.
