But you cannot search by location or town/postcode which is surely the most obvious thing? You have to scroll and read all ads to see where they are based, they need to fix this asap

22 messages to landlords re renting a room/flat. 1 reply…. Waste of an app. So may scams on thereas-well avoid this rubbish.

Please avoid this app. Myself and my partner got scammed out of £4,000. It’s a network of scammers. Please avoid this app!

In principle it’s a good idea, but when it comes to these big cities it is a waste of time. No matter how many people you message to inquire about the rooms they post, less than 10% will reply. And there’s no way to do any follow-up. You have to wait and hope the person thinks you look good, so that then they will allow you to chat with them. They also keep allowing people to post ads looking for rooms, so only half the ads are for actual available rooms. Basically if you’re desperately looking for a room, most likely you won’t get anything. This has basically become tinder but for roomates.

This platform is completely useless for London, it may work in other locations but not here for sure. I had just 7 views and 0 messages on Badi, after paying for Badi plus. SpareRoom is so much better, i listed my property on it two days after on Badi and have at least 3-4 people contacting me every day. I contacted support to ask for my money back, since this is clearly not delivering any valid..according to their T&C they don’t do refunds even id they failed to deliver value..don’t bother with them, seriously…
