Poor search algorithm compensated by inside knowledge
On medium setting, when killing a ship after the initial hit, the program achieves around 50% less misses than me, despite me using carefully considered probability. Despite this, I win around 60% of games against the program. This shows that its search algorithm is poor, and suggests that the programmers, instead of improving the search algorithm, have tried to level the playing field by allowing the program to waste less hits when a ship is found. The more difficult ability setting seems to differ from medium only in that wasted hits are almost eliminated. Such a shame.
Great game
Good version of battleships. Would recommend.
No two player on the device
Bought this for two player mode on holiday, but this is no longer included, just via two devices and have to buy twice. All about extra purchases, reviews for this game cannot be genuine.
Anything pass easy and your not gonna win
It’s amazing how the A.I. Can predict rlexactly where all the ships are ike after another, alarmist as if it knows where I put my ships. If it wasn’t so biased this would be a great game (still to the PvP game)
Not bad
The game is okay to play, I like the backgrounds and the characters of the officers. I like the challenges that you can try and achieve too, it the only thing is after buying the app, you still have to purchase more content to get full access. The board is quite small on an XS phone so some of the time it’s hard to be accurate and aim.
Keeps Crashing
From what I have played it has been great, however it has crashed on the last five games I have tried to play. Sort it out Hasbro.
Good but suggestion
I love this game very much, all round good game play. HOWEVER, can we get some equality and have a female character for free too. Why should be have to pay to unlock a female character. Why are there only men playable. Please change this
Used to be utterly superb...
This used to be utterly superb until about 6 months ago, when the cross platform “play with friends” facility stopped working, resulting only in an “invalid code” prompt.Throughout lockdown the ability to be able to play this with friends across different platforms was an utter lifeline....
.... and then after an update it just did not work anymore.

Always enjoyed battleships as a child this is a great version
So glitchy
Loses connection then game carries on automated so you think you are playing a friend when you aren’t super frustrating, ugh it’s getting worse alllll the time, even the free ones work better !!!! Sort it out!!!!
