Repayment Terms:
Bill is generated every month. Users have the option to convert bills to EMIs from 3 months up to 15 months. Users can also repay the bill in full at no interest cost by the due date. Loan repayment tenure ranges from a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 15 months.

Annual Percentage Rate (APR):
Ranges from 18%-70%. APR is communicated on the app while converting a bill to EMIs or taking a loan. APR will be different for different tenures of EMIs.

Amount chosen by user: ₹1,00,000
Tenure: 12 months
Interest Rate: 18% per year (reducing)
Processing fees: 2.5%
Repayment Amount: ₹1,11,196
Total Interest Payable: ₹11,196
Processing Fees (incl. GST): ₹2,500
Monthly installment (EMI): ₹9,266.32
Total Cost of the Loan: ₹13,695 (Interest + Fees)
APR: 24.8%


Example of Bill to EMI conversion:
Amount converted into EMI: ₹1,00,000
Tenure: 6 months
Interest Rate (APR): 18% per year
Repayment Amount: ₹1,09,000
Total Interest Payable: ₹9,000
Processing Fees: ₹0
EMI: ₹18,166.67
Total Cost of the Loan: ₹9,000

As per NPCI regulations, it is mandatory for UPI payment apps to enable SIM binding (send and receive SMS) from the user’s device to auto-populate OTP on NPCI common library for authentication and authorization of payments. I want to highlight an issue I faced while dealing with one of your executives regarding a waiver. As per BharatPay’s policy, only email validations are considered valid. However, the executive assured me over a phone call and WhatsApp that she would assist with waiving part of the interest since I had lost my job and couldn’t pay my bill for two months. She asked me to pay the remaining amount urgently, which I did.

Despite this, no waiver was applied, and the full amount was still reflected in the app. I reached out to her multiple times via WhatsApp, but my messages were ignored. Finally, I contacted customer support, but they insisted on a valid email proof of the waiver. How can I provide an email when the communication was conducted over a phone call and WhatsApp?

This experience has been frustrating and has undermined my trust in your services. I hope you can address this issue and ensure such incidents are prevented in the future.
