Like it but it keeps on freezing, not a connection issue

Overall great
Overall great source of information, quality content and a lot of facts. Paid subscription is worth. Shows some rendering issues on iPad 7 and iPhone XS Max. Occasionally slows down and doesn’t scroll smoothly. Some articles disappear or can’t be reached despite being on front page.
Buggy, full of ads even on premium, video keeps cutting
The app is very disappointing - video stops often or goes back to 10 seconds before, and just goes on like that in continuous loop. Lots of ads despite the premium account - ads interrupt the transmission in the middle of the host’s words or play even while there is already a new program going on, and that’s on paid account! Needs to be fixed asap.

If there were separate ratings for content and functionality, this app would be at two extremes — The content is strong, but the app crashes often, and often takes an age to open properly.

Why is the TV almost unwatchable in the app?
Frequent crashes watching TV in the app. Stops for no reason. I’m a paying subscriber and I have to watch multiple ads AGAIN after it crashes?? Do you understand that nobody who would use this app, has time to watch EIGHT ads before the TV launches???
Good source of news, okay app
The app could take design cues in my opinion from the FT app, which presents stories in a way that is easier to skim in order to find what you’re most interested in, and which has a widget. A BB News widget would be nice.
