Bound allows you to import audio files from various cloud services and play them back in a beautiful modern interface. Bound will automatically save your listening position so that you never lose your place.

Supported Audio File Types (DRM-free only): .mp3, .m4a, .m4b, .aac

Download

- Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive.
- Apple Files.
- Web Uploader for importing from your computer via WiFi.

Manage

- Move audio files between books.
- Change cover art.
- Sort based on author, title, recently added, and recently played.
- Rename title and author.
- Choose between a number of fun themes.
- Dark mode support.

Play

- Automatically saves playback location as you progress through the book.
- Independently configure seek forward and seek backward times.
- Chapter support for audio files with embedded chapters (.m4a / .m4b / OverDrive .mp3).
- Change playback speed from 0.5X to 3.0X.
- Smart Rewind when returning to your book after a while.
- Sleep Timer with configurable time or at the end of a chapter.
- Manually bookmark locations that you want to return to.
- CarPlay support.

OneDrive does not work, after adding the service the folders are visible but the content is empty. Of course the files in the folders are mp3 without DRM, I am disappointed because I bought the application because it has integration with OneDrive but in practice it does not work.

Very cool app. I can upload files from iCloud and listen offline. Plus the ability to bookmark interesting moments in the audiobook, which you can return to later. The only thing that would be useful in this application is a widget - wide and narrow.

This app can play audiobooks that are in the form of non-drm mp3 files. It reads straight from any folder in the iPhone’s file system. No need to import via iTunes or anything like that. Super easy! The user interface is also very clear.

Bound has almost everything what you need to listen drm free audiobooks from the cloud. My setup is OneDrive, speed between 1.7-2 times and AirPods or Sonos using Airplay.

One big lacking module (or independent app - I’ll pay for it) is possibility to offline download audiobooks to Apple Watch and to sync listening time with iPhone.

Small disadvantages: there is no way to save OneDrive audiobooks location; I have audiobooks covers in folders with audiobooks but there is no easy way to use that covers.

Not worth the money. Connection with OneDrive broke after a few days and now can’t send files through it. It also lacks the possibility to send zip files via iTunes directly to the app. There are free apps that offer more than this paid one.

There’s a major bug that forces me to kill and restart the app after every mp3 file on the latest iPhone. It’s particularly annoying when you have to interrupt your training. I’ve reached out to the author by email but he did not bother to reply.

App is not working with my 5s. I can’t see downloaded files in app. I tried with dropbox and web uploader. App downloads files, but audiobooks are not available in app. However, phone memory is taken up by files (I still have free memory).
