Prove to other players that you are a real strategist and commander in real-time multiplayer! Play ranked battles in PVP mode with multiple players at the same time. I agree with several of the other reviews here. It used to be fun and balanced. Now it seems every match your opponent will just have a flood of troops that never ends. They roll through the map while you’re still upgrading the bunkers.  Any strategy is useless because they instantly have max troops that move faster then yours.

This game has become a dumpster fire. This game used to be fun. Honestly. I played it a lot. Then they “balanced” it. In the online mode, if you’re level 10, the matchmaking constantly puts you up against anyone between level 10 and 20. Meaning at level 10 you can be matched with a level 19 and have no realistic chance of winning. Out of 10 games, I might have matched with an equal skill level (level 10-12) ONCE. literally everyone else was level 14+ and I was finished before the match even started. Not to mention what others have said about the campaign mode. Nearly unbeatable, and I think they do that so that you have to purchase the hero that that campaign unlocks. If you value your sanity, you won’t download.

The game is severely play to win, not only are you fighting people with maxed out cards as a newbie but it also puts you with people 10 levels higher than you, and because rewards are tied to winning games its a very very very slow grind to even get some but hey! A shop full of items is just waiting for you to buy it with real money, even after completing all 3 campaigns the rewards were minuscule, meaning the only true way to get items to even compete with the people it puts you up against is to buy them.

This game was really fun and awesome to play until they release the update with the paratrooper tactic. It’s such an unfair advantage players have, it needs to be removed or adjusted significantly. You can never attack full force bc they just click this button and your entire bunker system is stolen. There is zero skill with use of this.

Be prepared it’s a fun game it’s about 1% luck 14% skill and 85% pay to play. The rewards are mediocre and unless you pay your hero’s will not level as fast as the pay the play guys. Then when you start to play you’ll play guys twice your level with cool downs that seem to be non existent. So if you’re paying you’ll have a good time other than that you’ll struggle to keep up.

I refuse to play against the Nurse. She is a pay to play character and they have made her way stronger than any of the other characters. You could have 5 stars and all but one building covered to max personnel and she could still come back to beat you. It’s absolutely ridiculous that they created this character.

This game is a lot of fun and it isn’t one of those awful add supported games.  If you want to buy upgrades you can and they don’t cost much. I have played FTP for days so far and I am doing pretty well, I will probably spend a couple bucks at some point.  Super fun though!

The game was very entertaining and I will probably continue to play it off and on. However, after a few matches of fair gameplay, you quickly begin to go against people the same level, but they will just absolutely destroy you with less troops that aren’t boosted. I quite literally get into matches where someone will take my bunker with barely enough troops, they maybe send 5 troops over what it took. And I will be counter attacking before their attack ended with a force of maybe 50-60. And I can’t take it? They aren’t using abilities or anything, they will just straight up not lose a tower to raw numbers. Makes absolutely no sense.

Just another pay-to-win. Once you get to a certain level of play, only the people who pay for the extra boosts and characters stand any chance. There is no honest attempt at balancing those characters, either - they make them virtually impossible to beat even if you outplay them at every step. There’s also no single player option past a few silly intro levels they call a campaign. Could be 100x better.

Coming from an RTS and Strategy game vet of 25 years, this game is filled with cheating bots, or pay to win players. It’s gotten to the point where it’s unplayable trash. On top of that, the campaign is horrendously balanced. I doubt the devs have ever actually developed something that was truly balanced.  Typical cash grab mobile game.
