Calculator Max

The app is easy to use and always handy. I am trying to figure out how to get rid of the clicking sound when pressing a key and so far that’s my only negative. Settings doesn’t seem to have that option.

Ive tried many, but this one is great! The design is simple and awesome. The only thing I would like on a future update would be to be able to adjust the volume. It’s just WAY too loud when using…I have to just turn it off. Please update soon.

This is the best iPad calculator available anywhere!

This was a good app that was intuitive and easy to use. Calculators should be quick and easy to use, as this one used to be. However, This latest “modern” update turns an easy to use app into an obtuse mess. Grey fonts on a light grey background make reading difficult. Minimized / no borders around anything make icons and functions bleed together. Hiding the tape so one can now “scroll it” instead of just looking at it when it was normally visible, is just dumb, and makes one hunt for something that just used to be there. Save yourself frustration and stay with the current version. Do NOT update like I did. Also, given the history of this developer, do NOT buy! Most likely, in a couple of years the developer will release another update that will again invalidate your previous purchases. I don’t trust companies that take away features you paid for, just so they can charge you again for an app that was previously working fine. Off to find a replacement.

lots of bugs, crashes often. Contacted dev and never heard back. meh. waste of a dollar. Also, although the prices is listed as a dollar, once you buy it you will need to pay again to get all the features.. but that info was not listed in the description.

The app is very buggy. The preview shows that you can customize the calculator, but you can't, and every time I try to copy anything, it just crashes. So don't waste your money on this!

Best calculator application is frankly the default one that comes on Windows PCs. This is a step up from the default mac calculator, but is horribly buggy still. When opening the app, you have to physcially click into the calculator; if you try to simply start using it by typing your numbers without clicking in first it will not do anything.

If you like the old version, don’t update. Another case of developers changing an app for the sake of change. And, the change was not for the better. Used to be my favorite digital calculator. The app used to be user friendly and had a pleasant look and feel. Now it is cold and sterile looking and not as easy to use. The calculator has no sound when I touch a key. When I try to change the sound settings so I can have sounds, I’m prompted to purchase a $3.99 upgrade fee - after I purchased the older version which did have sounds. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS APP!

It seems like a fine calculator app, but in addition to the app store price there is also a 4 dollar fee for half of what they advertise here. I'd be fine with it if it was clearly noted on the app store listing, but without that it's simply dishonest and misleading.
