Je moet betalen om de app werkend te krijgen en als je dat eenmaal hebt gedaan is er geen service meer. Je hebt betaald, de app werkt niet, en je krijgt je geld niet terug.

I have purchased the Carly scanner and a brand license. From the start I had issues with the app. I tried to contact Carly but the only response was an automated message staying that the ticket had been automatically closed and no further response was possible. I could fill in a Google form to inform the developer of the issue. I have completed two forms with al the requested information and shared screenshots of the app. I haven’t heard from Carly and I haven’t been able to contact them in any way. I have return the scanner (only possible at my own risk and expense) and applied for a full refund of the brand license. Therefore, I would strongly advise to check compatibility of the product and iOS app with you car before making a decision. My car should have been compatible, but it turned out to be a big disappointment.

Have been using Carly for many years, and it really helped me out in some serious situations, either during purchase inspections or to diagnose issues on my car. However, their service deteriorated lately, and there is no support from their side in case of issues. Every ticket I would open, it would get automatically closed. Not something you’d expect for €100+ per year. They lost a customer.

Pas op, in tegenstelling tot wat het lijkt verkopen ze je een belachelijk duur abonnement. Nare verrassing van 257 op mijn creditcard terwijl ik dacht een eenmalige uitgave te hebben gedaan. Ooit aangeschaft in de hoop er iets mee te kunnen. Maar met nieuwe auto’s heb je dit niet nodig. Kan niks unlocken (moet je eerst de ECU vervangen blijkbaar) en alleen uitlezen dat er geen fouten zijn. Zinloze applicatie

Vroeger was carly een prettige app maar tegenwoordig moet je abbonementen kopen en is de app onnodig fancy en ingewikkeld. Ik weet niet of er betere alternatieven zijn maar met de kennis van nu zou ik het niet nog een keer kopen en dus ook niemand meer aanraden.

Nice looking app, Nice idea. However the app support of older vehicles is not the best. I was told my car is a little old and will not be updated to support basic functions like Live feedback / diagnostic. So is a shame, as I paid for a year subscription as website states my car is supported. This is NOT the case. So make sure your car will benefit from the subscription and account. Shame but true, I have the email to prove it. Will not renew the subscription this year! December 2023 update.. Now after only a year of use, the app is now incompatible with ios 15.8 and as a result each start up of the app, resulting in an error pop-up screen statement update to the new app version. Great! However the old app now stays on this window no longer allowing the use of the older / working version of the app installed on my device. Rendering the app and purchased dongle! So be further warned that this may well be the case for you in the future. So perhaps an alternative dongle and app may be a better choice! Do your own homework on the app compatibility as this changes week to week! Now a useless brick of a dongle and app subscription is now not usable (cancelled). Customer support previously stated my car was too old for most functions (2003 VW Golf gti) And now we he app states my iphone is no longer supported! what the foork!!

I have purchased Carly 2 years back and was able to scan and delete errors. A recent forced update has now blocked ability to delete errors unless you subscribe to an expensive monthly plan. This is pure form of theft! Stay away from this not to trust bunch of thugs.
