It’s a quick way to gauge the color temperature (among other things) in front of your camera, especially since I use the Accsoon SEE app on the same phone. I’ve been working on a project the last two weeks and have used this at each location. Bringing the footage in afterward and adding a quick CST adjustment reveals very consistent and natural colors. No more having to guess or rely on auto white balance for run and gun b-roll.
