Most of the time it doesn’t sync properly, and the company says it could be months before the server issues are resolved. Idk what the problem is but this is unacceptable for a product that relies on an app to function. Whenever I try to sync, it looks like it will upload (72% is the farthest it’s gotten) then the whole app crashes or the upload progress just disappears. -- KNHdermii, 2025-10-02 ### ***-- "Unresolved defects & overly optimistic analysis" Putting aside some infrastructure scaling issues the Circular team is working through, I still think this app and analysis algorithm requires significant improvement compared to the Oura experience. On the UX side, every time I edit the layout of my dashboard it seems fine but doesn’t really save and eventually reverts to the default view. Sometimes not all boxes are visible - not just the ones that are dynamic like napping and sports but also things like skin temperature. Those defects need to be addressed. Beyond that, comparing it to my use of the Oura ring, I don’t feel like the analysis is accurate. For example it tells me my ideal sleep duration is 6 hours. If I sleep for that little time I feel absolutely awful. Since it insists that’s correct, it’s inflating my sleep scores when I’ve only had mediocre sleep. Something is off about the calibration methodology that the ring already completed or analysis. Don’t expect that during calibration I’m ever going to sleep well. The app should still maintain the ideal for me and adjust as needed instead of baselining at an inaccurate value. -- JG001011, 2025-10-01 ### *---- "Do not purchase!" The new ring 2 is okay but the accuracy and consistency is absolutely the worst. -- J@$0N_C, 2025-09-30 ### **--- "App won’t open" After the recent update, I can’t get more than a day or day and a half use of the app, it freezes on the loading screen/ splash page and never opens. They put out a bulletin that there’s cloud server issues, and not to delete and reinstall the app, as doing so deletes all your data. But that is the only way I can get the app to open for the last 7 days. Upon reinstall it will work for about a day and then it won’t load or open anymore. Prior to that update it worked pretty well, at least it opened consistently and sync ring data most of the time with occasional connection issues. An issue that persists prior to update and since, after any “Walking” workout is recorded, it gets stuck and cannot finalize the workout report as it says ongoing measurement in progress. I think this is more of a ring issue than app, as the green lights remain on the entire time and only way I can get it to stop and finish uploading the workout report is to put the ring on the charger. Step count is miserably inaccurate. Apple health tracking me at 12k+ steps and some days ring says I only have 600! Overall not impressed. When it works well, the rest of the data is nice. But too many glitches and issues. The ring feels like it maybe should still be in beta testing to work out a few final things, and the app is embarrassing to release something so unstable to a customer. -- bosinator, 2025-09-27 ### *---- "Support is not great" Many of the features don’t work.
