Payments and Renewal 

Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or turn off auto-renew in your Account settings at any time after purchase. You can cancel the current subscription during the active period but will not receive a refund.

Says it’s free then asks for £14.99. I couldn’t get past this. I don’t want premium. My daughter was diagnosed yesterday and I wanted advice.

To add- I have had a generic response to say how may products you have access to. For every 10 we check, we are lucky if 2 or 3 get a response. It’s rubbish. We are really disappointed.

App keeps logging me out and then saying it doesn’t recognise my email or password,I’ve tried to delete and re download and then it says my password is incorrect. I’ve tried to click on “forget password” but I’m not getting the email to allow me to access a new one.

The app it notoriously wrong. Says some things are safe when they are not, and says some things are not safe when they are- like cheese, and frozen peas. Causes co fusion, particularly for new coeliacs. Should be banned in my opinion.

I think the idea of what the app is supposed to do is great, but paying for the subscription is pointless. A lot of the barcodes don’t scan when you try and scan them through which is not helpful. 
Also, most of the information on the app, you can also get through Google and other social media platforms that are free. 
It takes more time, but it cost a lot less to do your own research and ask around other people with coeliac.

I hesitated to purchase this due to the mixed reviews. Having used this for a few months now, it has been a great investment and made my life significantly easier. This is so much better than the free alternative which is available on the App Store.

The app is out of date, clunky and pretty much useless and costs you £14.99 a year.
Don't  waste your money on this app they are definitely not providing a useful service or value for money.

### ***** "## HONEST REVIEW - PRODUCT SCAN FUNCTION REVIEW ONLY##"
I personally felt like I was taking a gamble signing up for the subscription and subsequently downloading the app after I had read some of these negative reviews. 

Firstly, Coeliac UK was recommended to me by the outpatient clinic at the NHS as they had seen great value in subscribing (Vote of confidence).

Secondly, I genuinely feel that some of the negative reviews surrounding the scan function maybe unfair and possibly user error. I have found it to be fantastic and very reliable, the camera won’t scan if the item is too close to the camera. Also, I found on some multipack products that the barcode on the packaging is the one that works, not the individual item barcodes.

I seem to have to constantly log in it will not remember sign in or allow my phone to do it situation I am in a hurry dash into supermarket whant to check if what I am buying is ok then have to stand and type in email and password so frustrating sometimes it remember when I am in I place I have been before each time in new venue I have to login again gurrr!!!
