I thought this was a cute new twist on the block removal games that have become popular recently. Except for exactly 1 (for which I bought the ad free version), every other one I’ve tried gets to a point where it literally forces you to buy currency because they make certain levels so “hard” that you simply can’t get past it without power ups. It’s not that the levels are actually hard, they’re designed in a way where, no matter which solution you try, you’re going to run into an impossible obstacle and you either have to watch a video to continue (which I’m fine with) or you must pay currency. This particular game has no ad to watch, so it’s instantly 800 coins. Doesn’t sound too bad until you realize you only win 20 coins for most rounds. You get 100 for a very hard round. I’ve only passed a couple very hard rounds, and have only been getting 20 coins for other rounds. I’m still about 200 away from affording that 800. Then, if I want to buy more power ups, they’re over 1000 coins. It’s taken me this long just to get 600, so I can only imagine how long it’ll take me to get 3 power ups. The people who design these types of games don’t seem to design with sense (outside of just making profits) because, if I can’t play, I can’t get more currency, so therefore, I just stop playing. Then, eventually delete because I can’t get past one round. 
I don’t mind spending money on mobile games IF I don’t feel I’m being forced or pressured into having to spend money on a game. Spending money in a game should grant extra “privileges” in the game, NOT be necessary to even just play the game when these are “free” mobile games. Greed is taking over way too much. I remember being able to play most mobile games actually for free. I’d spend a bit here and there, and I’m sure others were, too, but now so many games have stuff popping up on every page or at every other click, reminding you of what you can buy and a bunch of “sales” on the currency or whatever. I call it “bloat”. This game, thankfully, doesn’t have that… yet. And I won’t find out if it ever does because I’ve used my gifted power ups and can’t get past this round (I’ve played it over 25 times now, but there’s a part where I just can’t get past because all the available blocks are connected and I only have one slot available), so while I would enjoy continuing to play, this is where I leave it.

The core game is good and solid.  But as is increasingly common even if you pick a basic reward and not the one to get an ad and twice the reward, it still shows you an ad!  That is very deceptive behavior.

I’ve tried all possibilities for level 55 but you still can’t win. I guess the app forces you to pay for items or tools to continue progressing. Personally, not my type of game if the developers force you to use items instead of making the level beatable on its own
