Copilot: Track & Budget Money

App is slow and at times not responsive especially during initial load

I’ve been having an issue with one of my connections on all three of their data connection options. They opened a ticket, the connection company said they see the problem but don’t intend to fix it, and Copilot just threw up their hands about it rather than work with the company to fix the issue. What’s the point of paying a subscription if they have no intention of fixing what’s wrong?

I just wanted a replacement for mint.com. A simple place to view all of my financial accounts. I spent more time trying getting my accounts to sync then actually looking at my finances, and in the end I could never sync up some accounts properly. Everytime I opened the app I had to re-certify multiple accounts. And these aren’t local credit unions, these are all major international banking institutions like Citibank & Chase. The interface is a lot of unnecessary info, more useful if you’re tracking stocks as opposed to finances. Some interface items are different if you’re using your phone or desktop app. For example: on the phone it lists an overall balance for all of your deposit accounts, but the desktop app doesn’t, you have to add them in your head. The lack of customizing the interface or just simply removing so much info is a huge disappointment, and the GUI goes against the MacOS structure so it’s always confusing where you should go to do anything. Also no quick tech support, no online chat or anything to help you figure out how to solve issues, everything takes days to troubleshoot. I expect that from a free app but when paying for something I expect more.

I had to uninstall and stop using it because it was reporting extra transactions and all budgeting was bloated making it impossible to see trends in budgets, the primary use case. The cause was a vendor would always run the card once, then make adjustments to the final cost afterwards. The app is not smart enough to detect the change and registers a whole other charge, even tho the first one was voided. Budgets were inflated and made it hard to know where spending was happening over months. The other thing was Venmo integration required a sketchy email cc to copilot for each venmo, and Amazon integration was terrible. Copilot cant read Amazon data from more than one account, so my wife and I needed to sync our copilot apps separately but it still never worked properly. I paid for a whole year (Apple has this as an editors choice), and I only used it for a few months, which was a big waste for an app to save me money.

Amazing app but please make a version for iPad OS

Great opportunity for a full screen iPad version.. Otherwise, I love it and that you can access apple financial accounts.

I love copilot, but over the past few months the app is extremely slow and laggy. I have reached out to customer support numerous time, but they have no fixed the issue. Leaving this at one star until fixed.

LOVE this app. Worth every single cent. The recent build out for MacOs is top notch as well! I was wondering when there might be a build out for iPadOs as well? Incredible app! Keep up the incredible work!

I am very particular about managing my finances. I use to manually track all my spending and income on an excel sheet and would spend about 3-4 hours each month doing this. Copilot has not only saved me time, it has also saved me money. I find myself ALWAYS sticking to my budget and being even more aware and where my money is going now. I love the organization. They respond to any questions you have and have and are very knowledgeable.

I been trying to have the support team fix a minor issue for 1 month. The team responds days apart and someone new from the team messages me every week which I have to restate everything all over again just for them not to respond / anything. It would be great to get a little support, especially given I’m paying a fee.
