## COVID Coach Description
The world as we know it has changed and we are living in unprecedented and uncertain times. COVID Coach is designed to help you build resilience, manage stress, and increase your well-being during this crisis. The app is free, secure, and helps connect you to important resources for coping and adapting during the COVID-19 pandemic. Customized tools are available to help you cope with stress, stay well, stay safe, stay healthy, stay connected, and navigate parenting, care-giving, and working from home while social distancing, quarantined, or sheltered in place. You can track your mood, visualize your progress, and find resources to seek additional help and support. No account or password is required and user data is not collected.

COVID Coach was made by the mobile mental health team of the National Center for PTSD, Dissemination & Training Division.

I have CPTSD and panic attacks from a specific phobia along with many more things. My eating disorder specialist recommended this app to me as a way to use coping skills on the go. It has helped me tremendously in overcoming anxiety when out and even at home. I haven’t stopped telling everyone I know to download it, even if they don’t have PTSD and are just anxious in general!  Everything is so helpful, and it’s allowed me to really flourish outside of my house and in public.

Love the Concept of the APP…but Why isn’t it downloadable with IPhone @App Store…Am I the Only One?? Tried Several times..however, this was pretty much ‘offline with not much WiFi Capabilities if at All (@Work)?!? Not Sure if this Makes a difference?? Will be Much More manageable+User-Friendly once I can downlaod to Homescreen on IPhone…Right now the App wont Allow when you look up in App Store…Also wasn’t Sure if this was just an IPhone issue…or the same w/Android (Google) as Well….

Only reason why this app doesn’t have a full 5 star review average is because of some spiteful troll who probably downloaded it just to be able to say that. But this app is amazing and I’ll list the reasons.

1. No ads. There are no ads whatsoever. Not even tiny ads at the bottom of the screen. Absolutely none. It’s next to impossible to find an app that doesn’t have ads, especially one that’s so high-quality.

2. It’s very obvious whoever made this was dedicated and very serious about their desire to help others through the pandemic. And it’s exactly what it promises-even better than it claims, actually. There are SO MANY features!

3. It’s all free! With most apps like these, you have to pay to unlock the full experience (or at least be forced to go through the pesky free trial), but that’s not the case with this! Every feature is free and, again, with no ads.

4. You have the ability to track your symptoms. With the pandemic, plenty of people will experience significant trauma, and some may even go on to develop full-blown PTSD. This app helps track your symptoms, not just PTSD symptoms but an anxiety scale, mood tracker, etc. and it gives you hope at the end when you get your results. There’s a chart that tracks your progress as well. These are no doubt helpful to the person’s doctor/mental health professional.

I could go on and on. I was pleasantly surprised and I’m glad I gave it a try! Thanks so much to whoever made this. This app has certainly helped many and even saved lives.
