Crossing Dropping provides live railway level crossing information for Liss and Petersfield in Hampshire, UK.

Designed for local residents, commuters and road users, the app helps you understand whether supported crossings are currently open or closed—and whether they are likely to change before you arrive.

Using publicly available real-time Network Rail data, Crossing Dropping displays live train movements and estimates when crossings may close and reopen.

Key features include:
• Live open and closed status for supported level crossings
• Estimated closure and reopening times based on live train movements
• Live train positions near each crossing
• Daily statistics showing total closure time
• CarPlay support for clear, at-a-glance crossing information while driving
• Siri support for checking your selected crossing or asking about a specific crossing

Supported locations:
• Liss (Station Road, Andlers Ash, Mill Road)
• Petersfield (Station Road, Kingsfernsden Lane)

Historical prediction accuracy is tracked within the app and visible to users. Accuracy can vary due to the manually controlled nature of these crossings, which use CCTV and human operation.

Location access is optional and is used to find nearby crossings and estimate your arrival time. Your location is not retained by Crossing Dropping or used for tracking. No account or sign-in is required.
